5 Tips To Taking Care Of Your Candle
The best and safest way to burn your candle
1. Trim that wick!
Before lighting, trim the wick to 1cm using scissors or a wick trimmer for a clean,
safe burn and increased lifespan.
2. Let it burn
Allow the wax to melt to the edges of the jar to prevent tunnelling - this is very important
on that first burn and can be make or break for the longevity of your candle!
We recommend burning for a min. 2hrs - max 4hrs to get the most from your candle.
Never leave a lit candle unattended, or in reach of children or pets.
Don't burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
To protect the surface below from heat, place your candle on a coaster, tile or heat-proof mat.
4. All good things must come to an end
Don't burn your candle if only 1cm of wax remains.
Lighting a candle without enough wax can overheat the jar.
4. Re-use, re-purpose, re-cycle!
Once the candle is finished, clean out the jar with warm soapy water.
Now you've got a new planter, pencil holder or mini storage organiser!
